Winter is in full force here in Michigan.  It’s been extremely cold…colder than Alaska to be exact.  And, we’ve seen quite a bit of glistening snow.  Below are several of my favorite winter essentials that help me get through this often times gloomy and blustery season.  Enjoy!

1. PowerSheets Goal Planner

This goal planner takes New Years Resolutions and turns them into doable monthly, weekly, and daily goals.  It’s a must-have for the New Year!

2. Raspberry Lip Bon Bon

My sister was my secret Santa this year at Christmas, and she gave me this gorgeous Lip Bon Bon from Younique.  Not only is the packaging beautiful, but the lip color is a pale pink and moisturizes my wintery chapped lips so well.

3. Sorel Boots

Oh goodness, these boots are so warm my feet sweat even in sub-zero temperatures.  I feel safe and secure in these babies. They are definitely a winter must have.

4. REI Down Puffer Coat

My sweet hubby gifted me an REI puffer coat for Christmas, and it is like being wrapped in luxury and is half the price of a North Face.  I’ve been completely “winterfied” this year, thanks to my Sorel boots and puffer coat.  I’m ready for the tundra.

5.Dark Chocolate Covered Potato Chips

These Dark Chocolate Covered Potato Chips are only available during the holiday season at The Detroit Shop. I can literally eat them by the handful…they are sooooo good!!

6. “A Simplified Life” by Emily Ley

I can’t wait to dive into this book.  I’m all for simplifying this year.  I’m going to focus my energy on simplifying our routines, organizing our spaces, and slowing down.  Plus, I love anything and everything that Emily Ley writes, so I know this book is going to be awesome!

7. Cozy Read Hygge Boxes

In lieu of my soon-to-be book release, a fellow nurse and hygge aficionado wrote me and told me about her company that sells Hygge boxes.  I completely fell in love with this concept. If you are looking for a little cozy to be delivered to your doorstep, look no further than Cozy Read Hygge Boxes.

8. Purple Statement Necklace from Bauble Bar

I have many parties coming up this winter, and I’ve got my eyes on this beauty.  Bauble Bar always has the most gorgeous jewelry.

9. Black & White Mocha at Starbucks

All I can say is, “Mmmmmm!”.

10. Erin Condren Life Planner

My year does not go round without this exceptional planner.  It’s a beautiful place to store my memories and everyday to-do lists. My life has never been more organized.

11. Artifact Uprising Photo Books

My gramma turned 95 years old right at the end of 2017 and I’m working on putting together a heritage album for her and our family.  She gave me her old photographs with handwritten stories of her memories.  I love putting together photo books at the end of the year as well of our memories, and Artifact Uprising’s photo albums are good quality and will last a lifetime.

12. LUSH Bath Bombs

A nice long hot bubble bath is my favorite way to end a winter’s day and LUSH’s bath bombs and melts leave my skin feeling like I’ve bathed in lotion. The glittery-er the better!

13. “Oh What Fun” Candle

I love the scent of this candle.  My friends say it smells like me in candle form.  I hope that’s a good thing. Ha!
