I have quite literally fallen in love with the Early Fall Preview at Pottery Barn this year. Between the hues of grays & blues, the luxurious soft textures, gorgeous damask patterns, & succulent arrangements….I’m completely smitten. I’ve collected some amazing DIY Pinterest projects, and beautiful table scapes & decorating ideas using white pumpkins, mercury glass, & minty green dried hydrangeas….that completely marry fall with these beautiful earth tones.
I’m beyond excited to share this Early Fall Preview with you! There’s even a link to Magnolia Farms new paint line & online market below…to help you complete the look Fixer Upper Style! (My other obsession!)
I hope you feel as inspired as I am! Let’s get started…
Pottery Barn Fall Preview…
The second I laid eyes on this display in the Pottery Barn window, I immediately wanted it all! Every time I walk into Pottery Barn, the BNL song, “If I Had A Million Dollars” begins playing…and I wouldn’t be buying “Kraft Dinners or Fancy Dijon Ketchups”. I’d be buying reclaimed wood end tables, slip covered sofas, & decorative throw pillows.
If, I mean, when I buy new living room furniture, I think I’m going to spring for slip covered pieces. I love this new PB Air Slipcovered Sofa. It’s probably the most comfortable couch I’ve ever had the pleasure of lounging on, & I am a sucker for white-ish couches. Although I know a light colored couch would be a nightmare with kids & pets, I love the clean, fresh look.
I love the pillow covers and accessories on display right now. The terrariums with river rocks and succulents & the mercury glass votives look stunning on the Pottery Barn Griffin Reclaimed Wood Coffee Table. And, I lost my mind over the large blue pitchers filled with hydrangeas! So gorgeous!
So, my mind got to reeling about how to incorporate succulents, and river rocks, & these gorgeous colors and textures with some more fall decor. I usually go all out for fall with oranges and reds and everything apple and pumpkin. But these softer hues I thought would be gorgeous to decorate with in early fall…like end of August & September.
Check out these gorgeous new decorative pillow covers from Pottery Barn! Velvet, Textures, & Damask…oh my!
I love these earth tones, but I also like to add a punch of color here and there. My living room is painted an earthy sage color very similar to “Emmie’s Room” from Magnolia Farms’ new Paint Collection, which I think is the perfect backdrop for this fall decor. Then I like to brighten up the space by incorporating color and pattern with pillows, art work, & blankets.
Speaking of color have you seen the new paint colors from Magnolia Farms? They look gorgeous with this entire fall preview, don’t they? Our favorite designers, Chip & Joanna Gaines, also have an online market where you can purchase decorative items she uses on their HGTV show, Fixer Upper. I think I need to add a trip to The Silos & Waco,Texas to my Bucket List!
I thought about how to incorporate white, rattan, & silver mercury glass pumpkins into my early fall decor. I also love antique looking minty blue-ish green pumpkins too. And, after a quick search-a-roo on Pinteres, I was bursting at the seams with beautiful ideas!
I have this dream of having a (or maybe several) interchangeable gallery walls. These wall decor pieces from Pottery Barn & Magnolia Market are absolutely beautiful… & I must have them!
And, for a beautiful fall kitchen…I fell in love with the Scarlett Dinnerware at Pottery Barn with gray decorative details, paired with the Napa Striped Table Linens, & the distressed Turquoise Heritage Cake Stand from Magnolia Market, & their Bakery Sign that’s been on my Wishlist for a while…
Pinterest Inspired Pumpkin Arrangements
I love the idea of incorporating blue mason jars, dried hydrangeas, & white pumpkins in a display, or on a mantle like pictured below. I also loved the apple & pumpkin crates, and thought that might be a good DIY project for the near future. And baskets filled with white pumpkins and the bluish antique looking ones, bring some extra fall statements.
Are you feeling fall decorating inspired? I can’t wait to try some of these decorating tips & ideas. Happy early fall y’all!
