My Starbucks Coffee Favorites

It’s no secret that I love me some Starbucks coffee.  Working as a midnight shift nurse, I rely heavily on my caffeinated beverages!  They are my lifesaver.  So, I’m going to share with you today some of my favorite Starbucks coffee and some not coffee (gasp!) concoctions.  Pull up a seat, get comfy, and let’s dream of this miracle beverage together, and the little green mermaid lady that brings me peace and energy day after day!

Coffee

{The “Olaf”}

The Olaf is a creation “invented” by a barista at the Starbucks at “my” hospital…well, not my hospital, but the hospital that currently employs me! 😜 Any who’s it’s, he offered me a sample of this and it was like pure heaven in a glass.  You can literally hear Olaf belt out, “in summer!” when you taste it!  It’s literally sunshine in a glass.

How to order “The Olaf” – Strawberry Acai Refresher (which does contain caffeine), made with lemonade instead of water, with mango (however many pumps they usually use for the size drink you’re purchasing).  I like to order mine with no strawberries on top.  I think they taste weird…not a fan!

There you have it!  Buckle up buttercup, and get ready to be addicted!!  You’re welcome!

Coffee

{Peppermint Mocha}

My favorite season, is red cup season!  When the Christmas carols start to play, and the Christmas lights begin to twinkle, and the red cups make their debut….I’m one happy girl!  Christmas is my favorite season, and I count down the days until I can sip a peppermint mocha and watch the snow fall outside my window.  It’s like a warm hug in a cup, and is so nostalgic for me.

Coffee

{Cold Brew Coffee with Vanilla Sweet Cream}

One of my new favorites this summer is the Iced Cold Brew Coffee.  I fell in love with its deep rich robust flavor.  It makes me feel like a “real” coffee drinker versus the “frou frou” coffee drinker that I actually am.

But, then I spruce it all up with vanilla sweet cream, extra cream.  Yep, I’m an extra cream kinda girl.  Frou frou…what can I say?

Coffee

{Somewhere In Time Latte}

This latte is a Mackinac Island specialty, and the one and only Starbucks on the island served this a few years ago, and called it the Somewhere In Time Latte.  This special drink is named after the movie, Somewhere In Time, that was filmed on the island.  This latte is as classic as the film it’s named after.

If you want to order one of these amazing lattes, you simply ask for a vanilla latte with hazelnut and nutmeg.  All the flavors of fall in one small cup of goodness. It brings back my own memories of the island…brisk autumn days, carriage rides, and the lake.  My perfect place.

Coffee

{PTL with Raspberry}

If you’re looking for a noncaffeinated refreshing beverage, try the Passion Tea Lemonade with Raspberry.  These are so refreshing on a hot day.  I think it may be time to retry this old fav!  Mmmm my mouth is watering already!

{Iced Caramel Macchiato Upside Down}

Another favorite of mine is the iced caramel macchiato, which should be obvious since I talk about it quite frequently on the blog.  But I like to order mine upside down, which basically means they stir the milk, espresso, and caramel together because…ain’t nobody got time for that! 😂

Coffee

{Creme Brûlée Latte}

When winter comes around, I love to indulge in a Creme brûlée latte.  It quite honestly is probably one of my most favorite things on this earth.  It makes me reminisce of snow falling, the holidays, and warm cozy blankets.  It’s a delectable dessert coffee. Definitely a must on a cold blustery day.

Coffee

{Chocolate Mocha}

A good ole plain mocha, though, amongst all these amazing treats in a cup, has to be my go to for every day caffeinated goodness. It is, after all, the drink I chose to enjoy on our wedding day carriage ride after our Starbucks Photoshoot.  It’s comfort in a green and white cup to me.  Nom nom! 💞

So, here’s to my fellow coffee lovers, and caffeine junkies!  May we always have plenty of beans to go around!

What are your favorite ways to enjoy a cup ‘o Joe?  Do you buy or make & take your coffee?  Bottoms up!
