I know we all want to feed our kids the healthiest foods possible, but it’s not always easy. Of course they’re prone to grab the first packaged sweet treat they can find. So today, I’m going to share with several healthy snack ideas to curb that after school hunger and nourish your little learners.

After School Snacks That Are Actually Healthy

I’ve gathered some of the cutest and of course simplest after school treats that your kids will absolutely love. These easy recipes will certainly hit the spot with your little ones and prepare them for after school activities, homework, and playtime. And, the best part, all of these recipes are healthy. Ok, maybe a couple of a little sweet, but everything in moderation, right? Which snack recipe will be your family’s new favorite?

  2. Fruit Salsa with Cinnamon Sugar Crisps– This fun treat look so refreshing and delicious, I’m sure it would be gobbled up in no time
  3. Homemade Popsicles– Made with real fruit, these recipes are simple and easy to make ahead of time and store in your freezer for an quick grab and go snack after school.
  4. 3 Ingredient Fruit Roll-Ups– Fruit Roll Ups sure do take me back to my early school days. How about you? And, while the thought of making your own homemade fruit roll ups may a sound a bit too fancy and complicated, believe me when I say these are easy to make and definitely pack a nutritional punch.
