A Gratitude Scavenger Hunt For Kids

Expressing gratitude is extremely important for our mental health, which is why I think your family will love this simple Gratitude Scavenger Hunt. Encourage your kids to search your home, inside and out, for the things that make them most thankful and happy. You can join in on the fun as well!

Your family can choose how to do this scavenger hunt. You may decide to have the items brought to you, or have your children draw the things they’re thankful for. Or, you can give your kids their own camera and have them create a photo album.

However you choose to complete this challenge, rest assured that memories will be made and gratitude will abound. Use this time to discuss favorite items/people with your children. Help them express why these things make them feel grateful and why they love them. Teaching your kids to express they’re emotions is so important, especially during stressful times.

Please share your family’s experience with us in the comments below or on Instagram using the hashtag #LLLGratitudeHunt. Enjoy!
