Every October, our nieces and nephew come to our home for an afternoon for pumpkin decorating, mummy hot dogs, movies, and Halloween fun. When they were little, we would get each of them their own little pumpkin and let them go wild decorating with stickers, gems, and paint. We’d find cute little kits at Target in the Halloween section and they loved decorating their own little pumpkin.

Our porch has been adorned with black cats, dinosaurs, and various Star Wars Characters and Disney Princesses. Now that they are older, they enjoy carving pumpkins…although we do spend half the afternoon listening to high-pitched squeals at the “squishy pumpkin goop” that my nieces can’t stand scooping out.
