I am so excited to give you a sneak peak inside my Erin Condren Life Planner today. If this post strikes your fancy, and you want to order your own Erin Condren Life Planner, I’ve included a $10 off coupon code at the end of this post. Let’s get started!
For part of my New Years Resolutions for 2016, I wanted to “get more organized”. And, part of that resolution was getting a nice planner that I could customize to fit my needs and wacky lifestyle…and I’ve found the perfect planner for me.
My Erin Condren Life Planner arrived in January, and thus my obsession began. My “baby” arrived in a beautiful paisley box, wrapped in tissue paper and bubble wrap, and smothered with free goodies from Erin. It was like a second Christmas morning!
The covers for the Good to Go planners that year had a beautiful deep purple hue and a colorful quote, that I still love…
The inside cover of the planner included decorative vellum paper over the title page…ooo la la! The new covers for this upcoming year have a dry erase board on the inside convenient for jotting down notes and lists. Pretty handy, right?
One of my favorite accessories are the Rose Gold Sticky Notes that lock right into the spiral binding. They look beautiful on the pages, and are the perfect size for quick reminders. This year, Erin has designed new Watercolor Sticky Notes that are absolutely gorgeous! Never thought I’d be so excited about sticky notes…but it’s happening and I’m going to embrace it!
I decorate my monthly spread with the Seasonal Sticker Book and highlight just the main events for that month. There is a space to write down goals for the month, and I use this lined area to also add in my monthly bucket list activities.
Every Sunday, I sit down with my planner to plan the week ahead. I decorate the week with Erin Condrens Sticker Books & Washi Tape. And I color coordinate different activities with her Markers. I love the color, pop and pizazz the stickers, washi tape, & markers add! All the colors speak to me, motivating me to accomplish something and not waste the day/week/month!
There are different styles of the planner that you can order. I ordered the vertical style planner, but there are horizontal and time frame options as well. Check out her website to see how you can customize your planner.
I like the vertical option because it can change and adjust with me as my life changes throughout the year.
I use the top box as my “To Do List”, “Where I Need To Be”, “Work”, & “Activities Schedule”. I customize my “Work @ 7 pm” stickers on Erin’s website.
Sometimes my week looks pretty bleak on Sunday when I sit down to plan, but throughout the week I’ll add notes about what we did, where we ate, and decorate with movie stubs and tickets from activities. I use my planner like a journal too.
I use the second column for “Around the Home” type of stuff. This is where I write out my FlyLady Missions for the week, and will journal about different projects we tackled around the house during the week.
The third column I was using for “My Health” and planned out my PiYo workouts and menu. But, now that I’ve started the blog, I’ve been using that column to plan “Blog Posts” and “Social Media”. I think I’m going to add my workout schedule to the top column and continue using the third column for journaling and for the blog.
I love that there is a special box to jot down a Thankful Thought for the Week, and I use the lined column underneath to outline some goals for the week. I love checking off boxes!!
One of the many accessories I like to use in my planner, are the Coil Clips that easily attach to invitations, programs, letters/cards, & in this case my Color Run bib! Now you can clip those items right into your planner onto the spiral binding! Too cool, right?!
I also like using the StylizedSticky Corner Pockets to hold tickets and other things that I don’t want to lose. It makes my planner feel like a scrapbook. It just gets me so excited I can hardly contain myself!
The other accessory that comes in handy, is the Snap In Menu Planner Dashboard. It is dry erase, so you can easily update and change your menu from week to week, and there’s an option on the back to write down your shopping list. The dashboard unclips from your planner so it can easily come with you to the grocery store. It wipes clean with a damp rag, and toothpaste if it’s being really stubborn. It’s a handy dandy little tool!
My favorite accessory, though, has to be the Sticker Books! Check out the Seasons Sticker Book’s upcoming stickers for the next few months…they are gorgeous!
The next few months pages are going to be so fun to decorate!
In the back of the planner, there are some blank pages for notes, a pocket to hold stickers or small paper things, & a plastic pouch to add even more organization. The new planners give you the option of having the plastic pouch outside or inside your planner. You can attach it with an included coil clip. I think it’s really nice to have that option.
To make your planner even more personal, you now have the option to pick your coil color (I think I’m going to spring for rose gold on my next planner), and pick your favorite personalized cover. The covers are interchangeable and snap on and off your planner. So, you can change the look of your planner for the holidays, or seasons, or just because you want to add your own photos. Or style. How awesome is that? Here’s some of my personalized covers…

How did you customize the stickers that say work @ 7
Erin has customizable stickers that she sells online. Just look under the sticker tab or search “customizable stickers”. You can add whatever text you want. I love her customizable photo stickers too. They’re newer and print out great! They’re not pictured in this post.
I am so glad that I came across your blog! My Lifeplanner should be here tomorrow, and I can’t wait to start filling it out. Great post!
That’s so exciting, Jillian. I absolutely love my planning system from Erin. I’m sure you will too. If you have any questions, please let me know. I love talking planners!
