Life Lately: The Great Pumpkin Run

Earlier today we completed The Great Pumpkin Run at Spicer’s Orchard in Fenton, Michigan. We walked {and slid} through the muddy trails, past the pumpkin patch, and up and down lanes of apple trees. It quickly became a new favorite fall activity for our family, and I’m sure yours will love it too!

Our race packets included a comfy hoodie and race bib. And, there are even additional options like the Tough Pumpkin where you can run with a 10 lb. pumpkin to receive an additional medal and customized t-shirt! This is definitely our new favorite fall tradition.

Click here to see if The Great Pumpkin Run is coming to a city near you. Run/walk this 5K with the entire family and look forward to apple cider, a super-cute finisher’s medal, and baby pumpkins at the finish line.

Here Are Some Pictures Of Our Day At The Great Pumpkin Run

The starting line at The Great Pumpkin Run.
We walk in rain or sunshine, and today there just so happened to be a light misty fog in the air which was breathtaking.
My 5K buddy…although today she hated having to walk in the mud.
I mean, how cute are these hoodies with a jack-o-lantern face on the front and our motto, “Get Pump’d” on the back?
It was a muddy mess. But, we embraced it and prayed we didn’t fall.

Truly breathtaking!

We made it!!
We got to drink some refreshing apple cider at the finish line and pick out our baby pumpkins.
Our finisher’s medal! How cute is that?
